NY-3 Atair, was originally named and owned by Cord Meter. Throughout her lifetime she had many owners and names including: Okee II, Hope, Carita, Lesmone, Alberta, Alida, Nachtan, Gray Goose and Our Dream. In 1952, she was again Atair, owned by Dr. E.A. Epstein of City Island, NY. Sadly a full gale tore her from her mooring and she was wrecked beyond repair.
