NY-15 Banzai was originally built for Newbury Lawton. More recently she was owned by Carolo D'Antonio who cared for and raced her from Vineyard Haven / Martha's Vineyard, MA, where she regularly competed in, and won overall, the Opera House Cup in Nantucket and the George Moffett Regatta in Vineyard Haven. In 2001, she was the recipient of the special "Spirit of the Race" Award at the Opera House Cup Regatta. Her new owner completed a full restoration in 2009.
