NY-14 Cara Mia was built for Stuyvesant Wainwright and renamed Old Timer by a subsequent owner. She underwent an
extensive 8-year restoration project bringing her
back to her original cabin and rig layout and was re-launched in 2001. Her refit was highlighted by an extraordinary interior with cabinets
and fittings far more elegant than were originally
conceived. The modifications are
in complete harmony with
the Edwardian era design of the yacht. She winters in Mystic,
CT and summers in Newport, RI.
