Homeport: Boothbay Harbor

NY-2 Ibis, was built for C. O'Donnel Iselin. Her second owner, in 1908, was J.P. Morgan. In 1927 she was renamed Silouette and shipped to Puerto Rico. By 1955 she found her way back to Long Island Sound owned by the Engels of Larchmont, NY who named her Huntress. In 1984 NY-2 was cosmetically restored for a NY30 film, then stored in Pennsylvania until 1990 when she was shipped to Detroit. She is now at Boothbay Harbor Shipyard in Maine anticipating a complete restoration. Stay tuned!
